Controller

Beyond Cloud SRL (details in the Terms) is the controller for your account data, and processes the content of your backups on your behalf as a processor.

What we collect

• Account data: name, e-mail, company name and CUI, password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Service data: names of your computers, backup schedules, job results and logs, amount of data protected.
• Technical data: IP address at sign-up and sign-in, for security.

Backup content

Your files and databases are encrypted on your computer before they are sent. We store them in an EU data center (Backblaze, Amsterdam) and cannot read them.

Why we use it

To provide the service, to bill it, to secure it and to contact you about your account (for example trial reminders). We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Hetzner Online (Germany) — servers running the service.
• Backblaze (EU region) — encrypted backup storage.
• Our e-mail provider — sending account e-mails.
• Payment and invoicing providers, once card payments are enabled.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists and afterwards as required by accounting law. Backups are deleted when you remove them or when the account is closed, as described in the Terms.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to support@beyondcloudbackup.com. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).

Cookies

We use only one cookie, to keep you signed in. Your light/dark choice is saved in your browser. No tracking or advertising cookies.
