Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2026
Draft — to be completed with the company details and reviewed before launch.
1. Who we are
Beyond Cloud Backup is provided by Beyond Cloud SRL, a company registered in Romania (CUI: [to be completed], Trade Register no.: [to be completed], registered office: [to be completed]). Contact: support@beyondcloudbackup.com.
2. The service
We back up the computers, servers and databases you choose to our storage in the European Union (Beyond Cloud Vault) and let you restore them. Backups are encrypted on your computer before they are sent.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for keeping your password safe. Company accounts must be created by a person authorised to act for the company.
4. Free trial
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial of the Standard plan, limited to 200 GB of protected data and 5 computers. If no payment method is added by the end of the trial, new backups are paused; existing backups remain restorable for 14 days, after which the account is suspended and, 30 days later, its backups are permanently deleted. We notify you by e-mail before each of these steps.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the web site in EUR, without VAT, and are charged monthly in arrears for the computers and storage used in the month. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail.
6. Acceptable use
You may only back up data you have the right to store. You may not use the service for illegal content or to harm others or the service.
7. Availability and liability
We take reasonable care to keep the service available and your backups intact, and we recommend testing restores regularly. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the 12 months before the event.
8. Ending the service
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that are not paid or that break these terms, after notice by e-mail.
9. Law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Consumers keep the rights granted to them by the law of their country of residence.
